When Salem Parks Foundation came to Axess Web Design, they needed their website to do more than just look good. They needed it to actively help raise money for two big community projects: making Aldrich Park more inclusive with a wheelchair-accessible merry-go-round, and restoring the beloved Eco-Earth Globe sculpture in Riverfront Park.
We worked with the foundation to update their “Ways to Donate” page so visitors immediately understand what’s at stake and how to help. That included:
- A clear, compelling write-up of the Aldrich Park campaign, led by South Salem High School students Saili Mahanti and Emma Zheng, who are raising $40,000 by October 16, 2026, for the accessible equipment
- A scannable QR code that takes visitors straight to the donation page, making it easy to give from a phone at the park, a fundraiser table, or a newsletter
- A dedicated section for the Eco-Earth Globe restoration, including mailing and online donation options for the $1.5 million project
- Photos throughout that put a face on the cause and show the parks these funds will help protect
Nonprofits like Salem Parks Foundation depend on donors seeing exactly where their money goes and how easy it is to give. That’s the kind of purposeful design we specialize in at Axess Web Design, whether it’s a nonprofit website refresh or a full custom site build for a small business.
If your nonprofit or small business needs a website that actually helps you raise money, book more clients, or tell your story better, reach out to Axess Web Design. We’d love to help. If you want to donate to the Salem Parks Foundation Aldrich Park project, scan the QR code below!
